Buckwheat Tree Farm was started in 2006 by Alexander McIver and Riley Drawdy.
We had the land and wanted to use it instead of just letting it go to waste.
So, when a good neighbor, Billy Cornette at Reed Island Tree Farm, said he would mentor us on how to grow the beautiful trees, we jumped in quickly. We have been Christmas tree farmers ever since.
